A CLUB FOR SKIERS AND SKI RACERS
The Bota Baggers Ski Club is one of the five Singles League ski clubs associated with the BAY AREA SNOW SPORTS COUNCIL. Membership in the Bota Baggers is open to all singles, or married persons living apart from their spouse, over 21 years of age, or married individuals that previously joined the club or another Singles League club when single. The main focus of the club will be skiing with an emphasis on ski racing. The Bota Baggers have traditionally been based in the tri-valley area of Pleasanton, Dublin and Livermore, but presently we have many members that are full time residents of Truckee, California, the center of the North Lake Tahoe ski scene. Presently, we do not have weekly meetings in the flatlands.
Singles League for 37 years. Fundamentally we are a ski and ski racing club, and in the Fall, when the air turns brisk in the Bay Area, the weather reports are eagerly scanned for signs of snowfall in the Sierras. Soon the words of Racer Ready will be heard on the slopes as our RACE TEAM of skiers and snowboarders (yes, even some snowboarders) line up for their turn to run the gates.
The Bota Baggers have been active in
There are two classes of Bota Bagger membership, "Active" and "Social". "Socials" cannot hold office, vote, or ski race. The annual membership fee is the same for Active and Social Memberships and is due on October first of each year, and the fee is $25 for both new memberships and renewals. A Membership Application and Waiver are included for your convenience. Both documents need to be completed.
