Details:
It has been very cold on the mountain and little has melted since Kirkwood received about 3-1/2 feet last week. Wagon Wheel (The Wall) lift was closed due to the wind. However, chair six was operating. The snow in the Olympic bowl and surrounding shuts is still pretty good. They are protected from wind and sun, so the snow stays fresh. Get up there soon, the snow isn't going to hold out much longer.
